GP Consultation Fees

  • Standard 15 mins appointment - 8am to 6pm: $85, Medicare Rebate: $42.85, Gap: $42.15.

    Long 16 - 30 mins appointment - 8am to 6pm: $125, Medicare Rebate: $82.90, Gap: $42.10.

    Prolong 31 - 45 mins appointment - - 8am to 6pm: $165, Medicare Rebate: $122.15, Gap: $42.85.

    6pm to 9pm appointments: $100 for 15 min appointment and $140 for 30 min appointment. Gap: $58 approx. No BULK BILLING after 6pm.

    Please note: Fees applicable for face to face and telehealth consultations. Telehealth Medicare rebate is available for patients who had at least one face to face visit in the past 12 months.

  • At doctors discretion, they may offer some Medicare no gap (Bulk Billing) on WEEKDAYS between 8am to 6pm to -

    • Children Under the age 16

    • Centrelink card holders (Healthcare & Pension Cards)

    • Some normal results follow ups are bulk billed if you see the same doctor for follow up. However, At doctors discretion, a fee may be payable if your results are abnormal leading to a brief consultation and / or if you require referral or script.

    Please note, your practitioners are not offering bulk billing after 6pm weekdays, Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays.

  • (e.g., students / travel insurance cards)

    Weekdays appointment slot: $85 per 15 min, $125 per 30 min.

    Weekdays after 6pm, Saturday, Sunday & Public Holidays : $100 per 15 min, $140 per 30 min.

    (You may be eligible to claim some fee back if you have a eligible private health cover)

  • Iron Infusion: $200 for a 30 to 60 min session (Out of pocket: $100 - $160 depending of the time it takes and medical condition). Please note: A initial consultation with your doctors may be required before booking in for Iron Infusion.

    Implanon contraceptive implant: Insertion: $100 & Removal: $125. Removal and Insertion - Same day: $225 (Medicare rebate: Ranges from $30 to $80) Please note: A initial consultation before booking in for Implanon insertion or removal is required.

    Skin Cancer Checks, Biopsy and Skin Procedures: Cost depends on the area of the body and size of the procedure. Check with your service provider at the time. As a general guide, cost is between $50 to $200 out of pocket.

    Termination of pregnancy consultation: (Prescribing) 15 - 30 mins appointment: $180, Medicare Rebate: $81, Gap: $99

    Work related injuries: We request our work cover patients to bring a valid insurance claim number for us to contact them & seek approval. Otherwise, we will require payment on the day and you could claim it back once the claim is approved. 

    Driving Medical Assessment & insurance forms: Ranges from $200 plus GST to $500 plus GST depending on the complexity.

    Mental Health Assessments: Approx. Out of pocket Gap $50

  • Dr Gabriel is offering Yellow Fever Vaccination.

    Standard Consultation: $125, Patient may be eligible for $41 Medicare rebate.

Allied Health Fees

  • Patients suffering from mental health conditions may be eligible for up to “10” sessions with a Medicare rebates to see our psychologist. Please see your GP for eligibility and a referral letter.

    Medicare & Mental health referral, Initial & Follow ups -

    Raquel: $160 per 1 hour consultation (Medicare rebate $92.90, Out of pocket gap $67.10)

    Milo: $190 per 1 hour consultation (Medicare rebate $92.90, Out of pocket gap $97.10, First visit - Bulk billing)

    Private (No Referral or Non Medicare card holders) – Standard fees apply.

  • Medicare / DVA card holders with chronic condition may be eligible for “5” Medicare rebate sessions to see allied health practitioners such as physiotherapist, dietitian and podiatrist (combined) per calendar year. As per Medicare guidelines, When coordinating the development of Team Care Arrangements (TCAs), the general practitioner must consult with at least two collaborating providers, each of whom will provide a different kind of treatment or service to the patient. Patient must see both providers soon after the referral is generated. For example, Physio & Dietitian. Discuss with your GP for more information. You are welcome to see our Allied Health directly. Please refer to private fee schedule.

  • Medicare & Chronic disease referral – Bulk billing

    Patients with no chronic condition, Non Medicare card holders – $90.00 (If you have a Private health fund, you may be eligible to claim some back)

    IUD Removal: $150 (No Medicare Rebate)

    Colposcopy: $230 (Medicare rebate: $60, Out of pocket gap $170)

    Cervical Biopsy $60, Cervical polyp removal $150, Vulva biopsy $150.

    Couple consulting together: $300 (Medicare rebate $142). One of the partner if eligible will be bulk billed.

    Complex Initial consultation: $400 (Medicare rebate $240)

    Complex Follow up consultation: $200 (Medicare rebate $70).

  • All referral services such as pathology, radiology, specialists and hospital services are performed outside the scope of your practitioner and the facility. Please check with the service provider in regard to any additional costs which may apply.

Cancellation policy

If you no longer need your appointment, kindly call 9066 0111 oe Reply “NO to the SMS to cancel your appointment. This will allow access for patients in need. Three hour notice is required for General Practitioners and 24 hours notice for all Allied Health and Specialist Appointments.

$50 – No Show fee may apply. We may ask for a prepayment if you miss appointments frequently.


Claiming Medicare Rebate

Our systems are connected to the Department of Health - Medicare web services. We will electronically inform Medicare about your consultation & fees.  Medicare generally takes 2 to 3 business days to process your rebate into a nominated bank account.  

Exception - GP Consultations: Medicare may not process your rebate if Full name, date of birth or address is not matching or your bank details are incorrect or not registered. (Some children account may not be linked to the parents account). We recommend you log into the Medicare Express Plus app and update your details before claiming through the app. Or visit the nearest Medicare office. 

Exception - Allied Health & Specialist Consultations: Medicare needs a valid referral letter from a GP to process your Medicare rebate. You will need to understand the number of sessions you are eligible for, under each clinical service.

Please note, we are unable to process your medicare rebate at a later date. Customers will need to claim via Medicare Express Plus App or by visiting nearest Medicare office.
